Is this a death wish? or the worlds best motorcycle rider?

I want to start by saying that I do not advocate unsafe riding or riding a motorcycle in a reckless manner or in a way that will put lives at risk. Below is purely a personal observation from someone who rides for pure leisure.

I have been riding fast motorcycles (street bikes) for 29 years. I have had two accidents and was lucky to have survived them. Riding for me is a way to release stress. When I am riding, I think of nothing else. I am laser focused. I can imagine those who ride, will relate. Not paying attention to the road and your surroundings or riding recklessly can mean the end of your life in seconds.

The video here is of a person riding a Yamaha R1, which happens to be one of the fastest production street bikes of its class. I rode an R1 years ago and I can tell you it’s a bullet on wheels. My question is, can the person on this video be the best rider on the planet? or someone really stupid on a deathwish?  To do what this guy does (besides stupidity) takes tremendous talent and zero regard for life or fear.
